Lost & Found

August 6 - September 3, 2023

Key Verse:

“For the Son of Man came

to seek and save the lost.”

(Luke 19:10)

In Luke 19:10, Jesus told Zaccaheus, a dishonest and hated man who had been radically changed by meeting him, that he came to seek and to save the lost. This gets at the heart of the good news that the God who made us loves us and wants us to be part of his family forever.

Christianity is not first and foremost about what we do for God, but what God does for us. The Gospel is not about finding our own way to God. It is about God coming into the world that he made on a great rescue mission to find his lost children and bring them home, to turn enemies into his friends, and to give us new life now and forever. We receive this amazing salvation as we trust in Jesus, are forgiven, and receive the gift of God’s Holy Spirit.

In our 2023 family services, we will hear stories from Luke’s gospel which show us how God save us and the radical change this salvation can bring about in our lives today.

Listen to sermon recordings below to hear more about how God’s word applies to our lives today.
